FEPD Circular No. 03: Issuance of notification on bringing gold or silver bullion/ingot by incoming passengers into Bangladesh
Bangladesh Bank issued Notification No. FE-01/2016-BB dated January 20, 2016, which supersedes Notification No. FE-1/96-BB dated January 14, 1996. The notification concerns regulations regarding incoming passengers bringing gold or silver bullion or ingots into Bangladesh. Authorized Dealers of Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh are required to bring the content of this notification to the notice of all concerned.
