FEPD Circular No. 18: Export Development Fund (EDF)

Authorized Dealers in Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh are permitted to obtain refinance from the Export Development Fund for bulk imports by manufacturer-exporters, irrespective of sectors, based on export performance over the preceding twelve months or USD 500,000, whichever is lower. This facility is mutually exclusive with the entitlement for bulk imports referred to in paragraphs 5(b) to 5(f) of FE Circular No. 45/2017. Other instructions regarding the Export Development Fund remain unchanged.
