FEPD Circular No. 18: Remittance towards publication related fees of articles for publication in international journals

Authorized Dealers may release foreign exchange to cover publication-related fees for articles written by resident Bangladeshi nationals in reputed international journals. This permission replaces the previous requirement for specific approval from Bangladesh Bank. Authorized Dealers must verify the genuineness of invoices from foreign publishers and ensure the deduction of applicable taxes before effecting the remittance.
