FEPD Circular No. 36: Import transactions under usance terms

Authorized Dealers of Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh are permitted to process imports of edible oil, chickpea, pulse, pea, onion, spices, sugar, and date on usance terms for up to 90 days under supplier’s or buyer’s credit. This facility is authorized for the initiation of imports until March 31, 2023. Other relevant instructions regarding these transactions remain unchanged.
