FEPD Circular No. 36: Inclusion of export oriented jute products manufacturing industry in Green Transformation Fund
Export oriented jute products manufacturing sector is included in the on-lending and refinancing facilities of the Green Transformation Fund (GTF). Eligible borrowers in this sector are permitted to avail foreign currency loans from the GTF to import capital machinery and accessories for implementing specified green or environment-friendly initiatives. This decision widens the scope of the fund, which previously covered export oriented textiles and leather manufacturing sectors. The instructions are effective immediately.
