Dear Sir,

Regarding the provision of foreign exchange export bill discounting facilities to Type C companies operating in Export Processing Zones.

Reference is drawn to your attention to the instructions in Section 23, Chapter 16, Volume 1 of the Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions-2009.

2. It is hereby informed that, following the rules and regulations specified in the aforementioned section of the Guidelines, export bills of EPZ-based Type C companies may be discounted in foreign currency under the purview of Circular FE PD-03, dated 04/02/2013.

3. All other existing rules/measures regarding this matter shall remain unchanged.

All concerned parties are requested to be informed accordingly.
