Final Guidelines on the convergence of supervisory practices relating to the consistency of supervisory coordination arrangements for financial conglomerates

Competent authorities must notify compliance by 23 February 2015 via specified email addresses with reference ‘JC/GL/2014/01’. Coordinators must perform annual mapping of financial conglomerates using Annex 1, identifying EEA subsidiaries, branches, and intra-group participations. They must establish written coordination arrangements, including emergency procedures, and lead information exchange using secure channels. Coordinators are responsible for assessing capital adequacy and risk concentration, engaging in dialogue with relevant authorities to identify vulnerabilities and deficiencies in the conglomerate’s financial situation.
