Financial Action Task Force Public Statement on list of Jurisdictions Under Increased Monitoring 30 October 2026

Applies to: All regulated firms

Licensees and registrants are encouraged to factor the ML/TF/PF risks of FATF grey-listed jurisdictions into their risk assessments of business relationships and transactions, though the FATF does not call for enhanced due diligence. Countries should ensure humanitarian assistance, legitimate NPO activity and remittances are neither disrupted nor discouraged, and should consider UN Security Council Resolution 2761 (2024) humanitarian exemptions to asset freezes. Listed jurisdictions including Cameroon, Haiti, Kenya, Lao PDR, Lebanon, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, South Sudan, Venezuela, Vietnam and the Virgin Islands (UK) must implement their FATF action plans.
