Format of the Appointed Actuary’s Report for Long-Term Insurance Business and Standards of Accepted Actuarial Practice

The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago issues the finalised Format of the Appointed Actuary’s Report for Long-Term Insurance Business and its accompanying schedules, establishing minimum reporting requirements for appointed actuaries. These requirements apply to insurers registered under the Insurance Act, 2018, including general insurers carrying on accident and sickness business, and become mandatory for reporting periods ending on or after December 31, 2021. Additionally, the document mandates adherence to the Caribbean Actuarial Association’s standards as the defined standards of accepted actuarial practice.
