Further Enhancements to the Trusts Ultimate Beneficial Ownership Register (‘TUBOR’) Platform
The MFSA has implemented a system allowing subject persons and competent authorities to report discrepancies in beneficial ownership information directly through the TUBOR platform, replacing the previous requirement to send emails. The system now reminds users of their obligation to report identified discrepancies without undue delay, ideally within 14 calendar days of detection. Additionally, FAQ 11 regarding the procedure for reporting discrepancies has been amended to align with these platform changes.
