GBCSRD Circular Letter No. 02: Regarding Banking Service for Street Urchin and Working Children
The document amends previous instructions to require scheduled banks in Bangladesh to open bank accounts for street and working children through selected NGOs. Banks must evaluate NGOs based on reputation, reliability, experience, and infrastructure, execute a bilateral contract, and submit specific documents including the contract, board resolution, and registration copies to the Green Banking and CSR Department within 15 days of commencing operations. These instructions take immediate effect.
