GBCSRD Circular Letter No. 09: Regarding CSR expenditure for the betterment of livelihood of the state recognized third gender people
The Green Banking and CSR Department of Bangladesh Bank amends previous guidelines to include expenditures aimed at improving the livelihood of state-recognized third-gender populations within eligible sectors for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) spending by scheduled banks and financial institutions. This directive, effective immediately, expands the scope of permissible CSR activities under the relevant sub-clause to explicitly cover this demographic.
