General provisions indicating the days of the year 2023 on which financial entities subject to the supervision of the National Banking and Securities Commission must close their doors and suspend operations
This instrument establishes the specific dates in 2023 when financial entities under supervision must close and suspend operations, including January 1, February 1st Monday, March 3rd Monday, April 6 and 7, May 1, September 16, November 2 and 3rd Monday, December 12 and 25, and all Saturdays and Sundays. General deposit warehouses and exchange houses are permitted to open and operate throughout the year provided they comply with these provisions. Entities wishing to open on mandatory holidays or close on additional days must submit notice to the Commission at least 7 natural days in advance with a justified calendar, subject to veto if payment system stability is compromised.
