The Saudi Central Bank mandates that banks utilize technical systems to issue banking documents electronically in Arabic and English upon request, ensuring compliance with data protection and information security regulations. Banks are required to provide electronic verification services for all issued documents, including specific minimum types such as bank certificates, proof of indebtedness, account statements, discharge letters, and IBAN verification. Additionally, banks must adhere to specified issuance timeframes, implement internal procedures for compliance, and periodically review high-demand documents to prioritize electronic issuance capabilities.
