The Grand-ducal Regulation of 13 March 2025 amends the Grand-ducal Regulation of 15 February 2019 by introducing Article 3a, which prohibits the cancellation of any declaration filed with the Beneficial Owner Register except upon a legal order. It adds Article 6a, requiring registered entities to provide the date they became aware of events triggering registration or modification, and imposing a surcharge on declaration costs for entities that fail to register or modify information within the statutory time limits. The regulation also updates Article 1 and Article 6 to allow applications and requests to be submitted via the manager's electronic platform in addition to the website. Annex A is amended to specify fee surcharges of €50, €200, and €500 for declarations submitted in the second, third and fourth, and after the fifth month following the triggering event, respectively.
