Grand-ducal Regulation of 18 December 2015 implementing Article 1(5) of Regulation (EU) 2015/751 on interchange fees
The regulation exempts three-party payment card schemes from the obligations under Chapter II of Regulation (EU) 2015/751 for national payment transactions in Luxembourg until 9 December 2018. This exemption applies only to schemes whose card-based payment transactions made in Luxembourg do not exceed 3% of the total value of all such transactions annually. The Minister of Finance is responsible for executing this regulation, which is published in the Mémorial.
