Guideline on Rounding Payment Amounts in Cash Payment Transactions
The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina establishes rounding rules for cash payment amounts: amounts ending in 1 or 2 fenings round to 0, 3 or 4 fenings to 5, 6 or 7 fenings to 5, and 8 or 9 fenings to 10. These rules apply until conditions are met for issuing a convertible mark with a 1-fening denomination. The guidelines entered into force upon publication in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina and are applicable from January 1, 2008.
