Guideline on the Publication of Abridged Financial Statements
The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago has finalized and brought into effect the Guideline on the Publication of Abridged Financial Statements. This regulation establishes specific requirements for the auditing, format, and content of abridged financial statements for licensees, financial holding companies, and insurers. The Guideline became effective on October 17, 2022, following the publication of an agreement with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago regarding statement contents.
