Guidelines Minimum Content of a Business Plan

These guidelines set out the minimum requirements for a business plan to be submitted to the Financial Services Commission (FSC) in support of an application for a licence or registration, and thereafter. They apply to all firms, companies, bodies corporate, and specified individuals licensed or registered by the FSC, including applicants. The business plan must be clear, comprehensive, approved by the applicant’s Board of Directors or authorized senior management, and include specific components such as an executive summary, organizational details, market strategies, financial projections, capital plan, risk management, and outsourcing arrangements. Licensees and registrants must submit an updated business plan to the FSC within three months before the end of the period covered by the last plan, along with current lists of covered persons, relevant persons, and officers or members holding ten percent or more of voting shares.
