Guidelines on Agent Banking for the Banks
Bangladesh Bank issues a Guidance Note for the Approval and Operation of Agent Banking Activities to facilitate the effective implementation of existing agent banking guidelines. This guidance note applies to all scheduled banks in Bangladesh, including those that already hold approval from Bangladesh Bank to operate agent banking activities. The circular remains in force with immediate effect.
