Guidelines on Benefit Changes and Contribution Increases for 2014

Medical Aid Funds must submit benefit and contribution changes for 2014 by October 31, 2013, to be effective January 1, 2014. Submissions require a signed Board resolution, initialed rules, an original plus one copy of amendments, and actuarial reports where applicable. Funds must indicate percentage changes in a specified tabular format, and implementation without Registrar approval contravenes Section 31 of the Medical Aid Funds Act and incurs penalties under Section 45.
