Banks and their group companies must provide core information to the State Bank of Pakistan for resolution planning and resolvability assessments. This includes identifying relevant entities, with material entities defined as those representing at least 5% of the bank’s group assets, and detailing core business lines, operating models, and key legal, financial, and operational dependencies. Banks are required to report specific data on financial functions such as deposits, lending, and payments, and must submit a resolvability assessment identifying potential impediments to their preferred resolution strategies.
