Credit rating agencies (CRAs) established in the Union and registered with ESMA must publish public disclosures regarding initial reviews or preliminary ratings by the first Wednesday of each month. These disclosures must include the entity or debt instrument name, LEI or ISIN where available, segment or asset class, and the date of the assessment, using a standardized template accessible without registration barriers. The list must be maintained for five years from the month of inclusion, with delayed publication allowed for confidentiality reasons up to 30 days after a public credit rating is provided by another CRA. These guidelines apply from 1 July 2022.
