Implementation of the European Banking Authority guidelines on stress tests conducted on deposit guarantee schemes under Directive 2014/49/EU (BRRD) (EBA/GL/2021/10)

The Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared compliance with the revised guidelines of the European Banking Authority (EBA/GL/2021/10) on stress tests conducted on deposit guarantee schemes (DGS) under Directive 2014/49/EU.

The Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority had previously declared compliance with the earlier guidelines of the European Banking Authority on this subject (EBA/GL/2016/04).

These new guidelines detail, in particular, the procedures for conducting stress tests by DGS and reporting to the European Banking Authority and competent authorities, by June 16, 2024, in a standardized and harmonized format, the results of tests conducted using a series of pre-established indicators.

These guidelines apply to the Deposit Guarantee and Resolution Fund (FGDR), which must do everything in its power to comply with them, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 16 and 26 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 establishing a European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority).
