Instruction No. 001-DOM/22 of February 1, 2022, amending certain provisions of Instruction No. 007-DOM/19 of October 25, 2019 on the interest rate corridor system and repealing Instruction No. 003-DOM/21 of November 2, 2021
The Central Bank of Madagascar issued Instruction No. 001-DOM/22 to amend the interest rate corridor framework established by Instruction No. 007-DOM/19. The directive sets the corridor width at 3.1 percentage points and establishes standing facility rates at 4.10% for deposits and 7.20% for marginal lending. It simultaneously repeals all provisions of Instruction No. 003-DOM/21, which had previously modified the corridor system, and takes effect immediately upon signature.
