Instruction No. 006 on the Use of the Chart of Accounts for Savings and Credit Cooperatives and Microfinance Institutions (PCCI)
The Central Bank of Congo mandates that Savings and Credit Cooperatives and Microfinance Institutions organize their accounting in accordance with the specific chart of accounts known as PCCI. Entities must obtain prior authorization from the Central Bank before creating any new account sub-classifications not already included in the PCCI nomenclature. This instruction became effective upon its signature on April 14, 2012.
