Instruction No. 11/2016 amends Instruction No. 21/2008 to require participating banks and credit institutions to monthly report the probability of default for resident legal entity debtors to the Bank of Portugal. This new reporting obligation, effective for October 2016 data submitted in November 2016, mandates the use of the BPnet system and specific CSV formatting for data including IRB-derived probabilities, reference dates, and risk segments. The amendment also updates references to the BPnet system, shortens the deadline for rectifying centralized information to five business days, and extends the archival period for credit obligation data to five years. Additionally, Table 9 in Annex I is updated to include codes for securitization operations and other specific credit characteristics.
