The Banco de Portugal establishes the regulatory framework for the co-management service of Main Cash Accounts (MCAs) provided to TARGET-PT participants holding an MCA. Eligible institutions must adhere to specific operational requirements, including SLIM access and BPnet portal usage, to utilize the service for liquidity transfers and account monitoring. The regulation defines service functionalities, contingency procedures, participant obligations, and a fee structure consisting of a monthly fixed rate of 25 euros and a per-message rate of 0.007 euros. The instruction entered into force on March 20, 2023.
