Instructions for Accounting Policies to be Followed and Necessary Forms for Preparing and Presenting Financial Reports and Statements No. (28) of 2024
The Central Bank of Jordan issued Instructions No. (28) of 2024, effective December 26, 2024, requiring all licensed insurance companies to follow specific accounting policies and use prescribed forms for preparing and presenting financial reports and statements. Insurance companies must submit final financial statements by the end of February annually, covering operations in the Kingdom, foreign branches, and subsidiaries, and interim financial statements by the end of April (Q1), July (H1), and October (Q3). The instructions mandate reconciliation of status for the 2024 final financial statements. This document repeals Instructions No. (5) of 2023.
