Insurance (Accounts and Statements) (Amendment) Regulations 2010
The Monetary Authority of Singapore amended the Insurance (Accounts and Statements) Regulations 2004 to extend the annual report submission deadline for locally incorporated insurers from three to four months and the stress test report deadline for direct life insurers from six to five months. The regulations also refined specific provisions within the First Schedule, including textual clarifications for Forms 1, 6, and 7(a), and established a transitional provision allowing the use of previous forms for returns lodged by 31 March 2010. These amendments came into effect on 5 February 2010 and are accompanied by detailed appendices outlining submission requirements and deadlines for various insurer categories.
