Insurance Companies Exemption License Regulations No. 35 of 2010

The Board of Directors of the Insurance Commission of Jordan issued Regulations No. 35 of 2010 to license exempted insurance companies registered in the Kingdom that conduct activities abroad. The regulations mandate a minimum capital of 1,000,000 Jordanian Dinars for both general and life insurance entities and establish a licensing period of one year. Issued companies must submit prior approval applications with detailed financial and operational data, comply with host country technical provisions, and provide audited annual and semi-annual financial reports to the Commission.
