Interim Currency Servicing Arrangements at the BSP Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, and Ozamiz Branches
Effective 03 August 2026, the BSP Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, and Ozamiz Branches suspend fit currency deposits and the standard twenty-working-day verification period, accepting only unfit currency. Currency deposit and withdrawal transactions are restricted to 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday, while a just-in-time cash shipment arrangement requires banks to submit withdrawal requests at least one week prior to the scheduled date.
