Issuing of Benefit Statements by Medical Aid Funds
Medical Aid Funds must issue quarterly benefit statements to members and their dependants starting 1 October 2017. These statements must disclose allocated benefits, used benefits, and available benefits for each benefit category. The requirement applies to all registered medical aid funds under the supervision of the Registrar of Medical Aid Funds.
