Joint Communication by MFSA and CSIRTMalta on Cyber Threats and Vulnerabilities
Regulated Financial Entities are reminded of existing requirements under EBA and EIOPA Guidelines, as well as MFSA Rules and Guidance, to monitor internal and external threats as part of overall security monitoring. The communication encourages these entities to utilize information disseminated by CSIRTMalta through its mailing list and Twitter channel to maintain proportionate situational awareness of cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Regulated Financial Entities may request further information or clarifications by emailing the Supervisory ICT Risk and Cybersecurity Function at the MFSA or contacting CSIRTMalta directly.
