The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago requires insurance companies with unsatisfied final judgments lasting at least two months to take immediate corrective action. Insurers must submit a letter detailing steps to settle outstanding judgments no later than June 15, 2011. Failure to comply may result in the cancellation of the company's registration under Section 25(5)(f) of the Insurance Act.
