Law N° 006/2021 on Investment Promotion and Facilitation
The Parliament of Rwanda enacted Law N° 006/2021 to promote and facilitate investment by establishing a comprehensive legal framework for investor rights and institutional arrangements. The legislation guarantees open access to investment, protects capital and intellectual property, and defines the roles of the Private Investment Committee and the Board in managing strategic projects and incentives. It further standardizes the registration process, outlines investor obligations, and regulates the suspension or termination of investment operations to ensure a stable business environment.
