Law on Combating the Financing of Terrorism

FIs, DNFBPs, and NPOs must assess terrorism financing risks, apply enhanced due diligence for high-risk relationships, and retain transaction records for at least ten years. Suspicious activity reports must be submitted to the General Directorate of Financial Intelligence, with confidentiality strictly maintained. The law replaces the 2014 Terrorist Crimes Law and enters into force the day after publication in the Official Gazette.
