Licensing requirements for companies providing trust services
Companies must obtain a licence to provide trust services in a professional capacity or on a commercial basis. The licence requirement does not apply to services provided on a one-off basis or very occasionally, unless the company actively promotes them through advertising or provides them to multiple customers. Operating as a trust office without the required licence is prohibited.
