Limitation on Accommodation
The National Bank of Ethiopia prohibits banks from granting or permitting unsecured loans, advances, or credit facilities exceeding birr 30,000 to directors or persons guaranteed by directors, unless prior written approval is obtained. This directive applies to all banks under its supervision and enters into force on September 1, 1995.
