The Bank of Israel amends Proper Conduct of Banking Business Directive no. 313 to update the calculation method for borrower indebtedness and align eligible credit risk mitigants with Directive no. 203. The amendment expands deductions to allow the subtraction of insurance company indemnities from the indebtedness of government companies rated A or higher, with the deduction amount set at 70 percent of the recognized credit risk mitigant. The changes take effect upon publication of the circular.
