Liquidity Risk Reporting

The Supervision on Banks Department amends the Liquidity Risk Reporting directive (No. 827) to shorten the submission deadline for quarterly reports to eight business days after the end of the quarter and for monthly reports to ten business days. The amendment splits the 'Deposits in Banks' line into 'Deposits in Major Banks' and 'Commercial Deposits in Banks', deletes the latter, and adds new reporting requirements for the gap between assets and liabilities before and after the impact of derivatives in USD and EUR. New liquidity metrics and consolidated quarterly bases are introduced, while the calculation based on the bank's internal model is cancelled. These changes apply to banks, with specific provisions for USD/EUR reporting effective July 31, 2013, and other metrics effective December 31, 2013.
