LISOL - 1 - 300. Minimum liquidity requirements. Liquidity treatment. Treatment of obligations from foreign financial lines. Complementary rules

The Central Bank of the Republic Argentina amends the minimum liquidity requirements to classify obligations arising from foreign financial lines not linked to foreign trade financing based on their maturity and cancellation terms. Effective October 1, 2000, obligations with early cancellation clauses are treated according to the remaining time until the contractual date the foreign entity may request cancellation or the original term if subject to local entity decision. Obligations without such clauses are treated as demand liabilities unless early cancellation is explicitly excluded by both parties.
