MAS Notice 815 Submission of Annual Accounts

Finance companies must submit auditors’ long form and supplementary reports, along with consolidated financial statements and specific returns, to the Monetary Authority of Singapore within three months after the close of each financial year or reporting date. Auditors are required to perform limited assurance engagements on Risk Based Capital Adequacy Reporting Schedules and opine on compliance with Deposit Insurance Returns for scheme members. A transitional provision allows finance companies with a financial year ending on 31 December 2023 to submit the auditors’ statement regarding Deposit Insurance Returns up to four months after the financial year end.
