MAS Notice FSM-N08 Cyber Hygiene
This Notice imposes cyber hygiene requirements on credit card or charge card licensees in Singapore, including the obligation to secure administrative accounts and implement network perimeter controls. Licensees must apply security patches within a timeframe commensurate with risk, maintain written security standards for all systems, and deploy malware protection where available. Additionally, multi-factor authentication is mandatory for administrative accounts of critical systems and for any system used to access customer information via the internet.
