Approved MAT insurers may substitute insurance deposits with Singapore Government Securities. Banks licensed under the Banking Act may issue bank covenants under Common Seal or Power of Attorney. Lodging under Common Seal requires a certified directors’ resolution; Power of Attorney requires a certified copy. Certification must be performed by the bank’s legal adviser. Foreign-incorporated banks must provide written confirmation from their legal adviser regarding valid execution under local law and constitutional documents. This Notice takes immediate effect, replacing the 2021 Amendment.
