Minimum Cash Requirements: Adjustments to Integration with LELIQ and/or NOBAC

monetary

Financial institutions must not, from 1.11.19, integrate the peso minimum cash requirement on demand obligations with LELIQ and/or NO-BAC. For peso transactions in localities in categories II to VI, demand placement rates drop 2 percentage points and time placement rates 1 point, to a minimum of zero; remote time deposits in pesos get the same treatment. Group “A” entities and branches or subsidiaries of G-SIBs not in that group may integrate the peso requirement with National Treasury Bonds in pesos at fixed rate maturing November 2020 up to 5 percentage points of specified rates.
