Modification of Authorization Granted to El Águila, Compañía de Seguros, S.A. de C.V. as a Subsidiary of Great American Insurance Company
The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties modifies the authorization granted to El Águila, Compañía de Seguros, S.A. de C.V., to substitute the reference to "Distrito Federal" with "Ciudad de México" in its social domicile and to remove the specific capital amount, replacing it with a requirement to hold the minimum paid-in capital determined annually for each authorized line of business. The resolution also updates the authorized lines of business to include civil liability, professional risks, marine and transport, fire, catastrophic risks, and miscellaneous risks, in addition to automobiles. These changes are published in the Official Gazette and two widely circulated newspapers within 120 days of notification.
