Modifications to the General Provisions on Service to Users of Retirement Savings Systems
The National Commission for the Retirement Savings System modifies the General Provisions on Service to Users of Retirement Savings Systems to align terminology with the creation of the 'Retirement Advisor' figure, which consolidates the functions of Promoter Agents and Service Agents. The amendments update Chapter V and its sections, replacing references to 'Promoter Agents' and 'Service Agents' with 'Retirement Advisors' and 'Call Center Staff' across Articles 2, 6, 10, 13, 14, 19, 21, 24, 27, 28, 39, 40, 54, 55, 56, and 57. Sections II, III, and IV of Chapter V, along with Articles 41 through 53, are repealed to eliminate regulatory confusion. The modifications impose no new compliance costs on regulated entities and enter into force on the business day following publication in the Official Gazette.
