Modifying Circular 13/24 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular

MODIFYING CIRCULAR 13/24 OF THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETY CIRCULAR

(Annex 13.3.1.)

The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, based on the provisions of Articles 366, fraction II, 367, fraction II, 372, fractions VI, XIII and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions, and:

CONSIDERING

That in accordance with what is established in Article 48 of the Internal Regulations of the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, the days on which the work of said Commission is suspended, or when its offices remain closed, with prior notice given, will be considered non-working days for all legal effects, except in the case of enabling days for the practice of inspection visits, in terms of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions and other applicable legal provisions.

That on account of the upcoming vacation period of the staff of said Commission, the days on which it will suspend its work and its offices will remain closed are made known, considering such days as non-working days for all legal effects.

For the foregoing, the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties has resolved to modify the Single Insurance and Surety Circular in the following terms:

MODIFYING CIRCULAR 13/24 OF THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETY CIRCULAR

(Annex 13.3.1.)

SINGLE.- Annex 13.3.1. of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular is modified.

TRANSITORY PROVISIONS

FIRST.- Publish in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

SECOND.- This Modifying Circular will enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

ANNEX 13.3.1.

DAYS THAT WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-WORKING DAYS DUE TO THE

VACATION PERIOD OF THE STAFF OF THE

COMMISSION

It is informed that the 2024 vacation period for the Commission's staff will run from December 23, 2024, to January 7, 2025, resuming work on January 8, 2025. During this period, the deadlines established by applicable regulations will not run and will be considered non-working days for all corresponding legal effects.

The foregoing shall not apply to procedures for the contracting of acquisitions, leases, and services.
