MPD Circular No. 04: Re-fixation of Interest Rate Corridor (IRC)

The document revises the Interest Rate Corridor (IRC) for deposits effective 25 November 2024. It increases the upper limit of the Short-Term Deposit Fixed Deposit (STDF) corridor from 9.00% to 9.50% and the Long-Term Deposit Fixed Deposit (LTDF) corridor from 10.50% to 11.00%. Additionally, the Lower Standing Limit (LSL) for the Short-Term Deposit Fixed Deposit (STDF) is raised from 7.50% to 8.00%.
